MANCHESTER UNITED have terminated Tahith Chong’s loan deal at Werder Bremen.
The highly-rated 21-year-old winger is now set to move on loan to Club Brugge.
The Netherlands Under-21 international has spent the first half of this season on loan in Germany with Werder Bremen.
But he only featured in 13 matches and United have decided to end the loan deal early.
Posting on Twitter, Chong said: “It’s been a pleasure to represent the club for the last few months.
“Even though it wasn’t long, I learnt a lot and I leave the club with some great memories and friendships. Good luck for the rest of the season.”
Club Brugge are close to completing the loan signing of Chong with the contract and medical still to be finalised.
Chong signed a new contract at Old Trafford last March to end talk of permanently leaving United.
The talented attacker’s last appearance for the Red Devils was as a substitute in their home win over LASK in the Europa League in August.

Chong will look to make a big impression at Belgian top-flight leaders Club Brugge during the rest of the season which could attract the attention of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at United.
But the arrival of new signing Amad Diallo is only likely to make his chances of a first-team future at the club harder.
Winger Diallo, who joined from Atalanta, scored twice on his debut for the Under-23s in their win over Liverpool on Saturday.
