Barcelona Lionel Messi equaled Pelé’s record of scoring the most goals for any club, scoring a goal in the Spanish Football League La Liga match that drew 2–2 between Barcelona and Valencia. Messi has scored 643 goals for Barcelona since 2004 and thus equals Pelé’s record of the most goals scored by Santos from 1957 to 1974.
